Terms and Conditions
Last updated 4 September 2026
These terms apply to your use of theadmeter.com and to the services The Ad Meter provides. By using the website or requesting an audit, you agree to them.
What we provide
The Ad Meter provides Google Ads account audits and ongoing Google Ads management for businesses. An audit is an assessment and a set of recommendations. Ongoing management is a separate paid engagement agreed in writing before any work starts.
The free audit
- The audit is provided at no cost and creates no obligation on either side.
- It is an opinion based on the account data available at the time it is carried out.
- Requesting an audit does not create an ongoing client relationship.
- We may decline to carry out an audit, for example where the business is outside the areas we serve.
No guarantee of results
Advertising performance depends on factors outside our control, including your market, competitors, pricing, seasonality, the quality of your offer and how enquiries are handled once they arrive. We do not guarantee any level of performance, ranking, lead volume, cost per lead or return on ad spend, and nothing on this website should be read as such a guarantee.
Your Google Ads account and spend
- Your Google Ads account remains yours at all times.
- Access is granted by you and can be revoked by you at any time.
- Your advertising budget is paid directly to Google and is entirely separate from any fee we charge. We do not take custody of your ad spend.
- You remain responsible for the content of your advertising and for compliance with Google Ads policies and applicable advertising law.
Fees
Ongoing management is charged as a setup fee plus a recurring monthly management fee. Amounts are agreed with you in writing before work begins. Any pricing shown on this website is indicative until confirmed in that agreement.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your business.
- Grant the account access needed for the work you have asked us to do.
- Respond to approval requests, since significant account changes wait for your sign off.
Intellectual property
The content, design and branding of this website belong to The Ad Meter. Materials produced for you as part of an engagement, such as a brand kit or landing page, are yours to use.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you have paid us for the service in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending an engagement
Either side may end an ongoing management engagement in line with the notice period set out in the written agreement. On termination, access to your account is returned or revoked and the account remains yours.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continued use of the website after that constitutes acceptance.
